2 quarts blueberries
4-1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. cider vinegar
1 2inch stick of cinnamon
8 cloves
1/4 t nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Wash berries, remove any stems. Place the sugar, vinegar, and spices (tied in cheesecloth) in a large pot. Add 1/2 c. water and boil for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to simmer, add berries and simmer for 30 minutes or so until the berries are tender and the syrup has thickened. Pour into hot sterile jars, adjust lids and rings. water bath for 5 minutes.
