Directions:
Season a midsized pot of boiling water to taste with crab boil. Add enough crab boil to transfer a pleasant amount of crab boil flavor to the vegetables, but not as much as you would add for crawfish, crabs, or shrimp. For more depth of flavor you can add peppercorns, bay leaves, a quartered onion, and a quartered lemon to the seasoned water.

Personal Notes:
This is a very easy, healthy, and delicious option for vegetables. No butter or oil is needed and the flavor is superior to any other vegetable dish that is this quick and easy.

Additionally, always be sure to taste everything you cook in increments. A dish's final flavor should never be a surprise to you.

Other vegetable substitutes:
Snow Peas
Sugar Snap Peas
Corn on the Cobb
Red Potatoes
Asparagus
