5 lb ribs 1/8 tsp pepper 1/8 c. vinegar 1/8 c. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. boiling water 1 tbsp salt 1/2 onion, chopped fine 1/2 c. catsup 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 lemon (optional)
Mix sauce ingredients, let stand for 1/2 hour. Put ribs in pan round side down. Slice lemon thin and put on ribs, cover with sauce and bake at 400º for minutes. Turn down to 300º and continue baking for 30 minutes. Add more water as needed to baste.
