Bring to a good boil:
3/4 cup vinegar
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. pickling spice (tied in a bag)

Remove from heat. Cool completely.

Pour over:
1 qt. sliced kosher dill pickles

Let stand 4 days. Stir occasionally. Remove spice bag.
