4 slices Chopped Bacon
1 large Chopped Onion
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 cans Ranch Style Beans (26oz)
1 tbsp.Prepared Mustard
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 cup Ketchup

Directions:

Fry bacon until crisp, remove and drain. Saute onion in bacon grease until limp. Mix all together and put in baking dish. Cook in 250 F oven for one hour.

Mark, the manager of :Houston's" restaurant in Houston on Westheimer, was a nice guy from Main. Several of my buddies would stop in almost every day, for Happy Hour and Mark did so want not to be a Yankee. He bought us rounds of adult beverages and even let me in the kitchen several times; hence, two of their signature dishes, "Houston's Ribs" and "Houston's Bar B Q Beans" are here.
