3 lbs. ripe pears (9 cups)
1 can crushed pineapple - drained
1 lemon - juiced and grated
5 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash, peel,core and grind pears. Measure pears, add pineapple. Add lemon rind and juice. Add sugar and cook over low heat. Stir frequently to avoid scorching. Cook for 20 minutes. Pour into sterilized jars;adjust lids. Process 10 minutes in water bath canner.
