"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
Directions:
Trim ribs and place in non-reactive plastic or glass pan. I use one of those plastic pans from Walmart that will fit into an igloo. Pour Dr. Pepper over ribs and cover with foil. Put in igloo over ice over night. Take ribs out of igloo and rub with Rub. Let stand about an hour. Meanwhile make sauce in blender.
Lather with sauce and place on smoker meat side down. Smoke a couple of hours and baste with sauce. Keep cooking and basting until meat pulls away from bone.

Serve with beans and potato salad or slaw. Just before serving if you have a sweet onion, slice it and sprinkle lightly with leftover rub.
