Bread Pudding Recipe

2 c Whole Milk
1/4 c Butter
2/3 c Sugar (white or Brown to your preference)
3 Eggs
2 t Cinnamon
1.4 t nutmeg
1 t Vanilla Extract
3 c Bread, torn into small pieces

Sauce:
1 c Whole Milk
2 T Butter
1/3 c White Sugar
1 t Vanilla Extract
1 T Flour
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan heat milk until a film covers the top, add butter stir until butter is melted. Cool to lukewarm. In a bowl combine sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, & vanilla with an electric mixer at medium speed for 1 min. Slowly add in milk. Put bread into lightly greased casserole dish, pour batter on top of bread. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 mins. For sauce, add all ingredients together & bring to a boil for 3-4 mins stirring constantly. Set aside for 5 mins then pour over warm bread pudding. Enjoy

If you use the sauce you can cut the sugar in the bread pudding recipe down to 1/3 of a cup.
