2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 cubes margarine or butter
1 c. water
4 T. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
FROSTING
1 cube margarine or butter
4 T. cocoa
6 T. water
1 lb. powder sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts if desired

CAKE
Mix flour and sugar together set aside
mix butter, water, and cocoa together in a pan and bring to just boil on stove
Mix remaining ingredients together in a medium bowl
Add flour mix and cocoa mix to bowl. Mix all together Hand beat until smooth
Pour evenly into large cookie sheet that has been greased very well and floured

FROSTING
Mix butter, cocoa and water together in a pan and bring to boil.
Add powdered sugar Stir well
Add vanilla and nuts Beat until smooth
Smooth onto cake when it is still warm
