2 cups milk (scolded) 2 cups water 2 tbsp salt 4 tbsp sugar 2 pkgs yeast 3 tbsp shortening 6 cups flour (might need more)
Mix the first 4 ingredients together. Add the yeast to milk mix when it is just warm. Add the shortening then add enough flour to make the right consistency. Let rest a while and kneed again. Let raise and put on pans. Let raise again and bake at 350º.
