2 c. Crispix
2 c. Kix or Captain Crunch
2 c. Wheat Chex or Chocolate Chex
2 c. Golden Grahams
2 c. pretzels
2 c. mixed nuts

6 T brown sugar
2 T white Karo
1/4 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the cereals, nuts and pretzels. Combine syrup ingredients in a saucepan and heat, stirring until smooth and well combined. Pour hot syrup over cereal mixture. Bake at 225º for 2 hours, or until syrup is thoroughly dry. Cool completely, breaking large pieces up. Add M&Ms and raisins.

LARGE RECIPE:

Use full boxes of cereal, plus full bag of pretzels and 2 cans of nuts, then do 6 times amount of recipe for syrup, as follows:

1 1/2 c. margarine
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c Karo
1 T vanilla

Use a clean garbage bag to mix cereal, nuts, pretzels. Cook syrup. Pour syrup VERY GRADUALLY on cereal in bag (making sure that it doesn't touch the side of the bag or it will melt the bag). Shake to coat cereal. Spread onto 4 cookie sheets and bake (I have set the oven as low as it will go and left it in overnight....at least 3 hours). When dry, pour into another clean garbage bag and break up pieces with hands. COOL. add candy and raisins.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I made up this recipe. I have NEVER made this that someone doesn't ask for the recipe!!! It is so easy to make the large recipe, and have lots to share and give away (I made this for teacher/neighbor Christmas gifts). At Christmas I use red/green M&Ms. For Halloween, I use fall color M&Ms and candy corn for raisins. Use your choice of cereal. Be creative using your choice of candy and cereal.
