2 cups flour 2 cups rolled oats 1 cup butter/margarine 1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp soda 1/2 tsp salt coconut 2 cups dates 1/2 cup sugar 1 T butter 1 cup water 1 T orange juice
Cream butter, add dry ingredients & blend with pastry blender. Put 1/2 of mixture in a greased pan. Mix dates with remaining ingredients & add to your base, cover with remaining flour mixture & Bake. 350º 15-20 minutes, golden brown.
