8 cups Crispix cereal
1 ¼ cups nuts
½ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup white corn syrup
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Put cereal and nuts in large, clean paper grocery bag. Melt butter in microwave in large glass bowl. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Mix well. Microwave 2 minutes on high, or just until bubbly. Add baking soda to caramel mixture and stir. Pour hot caramel mixture over cereal and nuts in bag and shake. Roll down top of bag and put in microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Take out and shake. Be careful, bottom of bag will be hot. Repeat microwaving 1 minute and 30 seconds. Remove from microwave and shake . Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet to cool. Store in airtight container.
