1 # browned gr. beef
onion, mushrooms, garlic
1 lg. can crushed tomatoes
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 c. water
Spaghetti or Italian seasoning to taste

2 c. fat free cottage cheese
4 oz. fat free shredded mozzarella
1 tsp. oregano

Also need 8 oz. fat free mozzarella
8 oz. uncooked whole wheat lasagna noodles

Mix the gr. beef, onion, gr. pepper, mushrooms, garlic,crushed tomatoes, with the sauce (tomato paste, water and spaghetti seasoning). Separately mix the cottage cheese, mozzarella, and oregano together.
Layer in 9x13 pan--half the sauce, half the noodles, all the cottage cheese mixture, rest of the noodles and then the sauce on top of that.

Bake at 350 F. covered for 1 hour until hot all the way through the center. Then top with the last 8 oz. mozzarella. Bake another 15 minutes uncovered.

Makes 8 servings of 5 points each.
