Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cans crescent rolls
2 pkgs 8 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk (save the egg white)
1 tsp vanilla
Pecan pieces
Sugar
Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Line ungreased 9 x 13 Pyrex dish with one package of rolls. Spread and pinch creases with fingers. Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Spread on the lined dish. Top with the second pkg of rolls. (Here is where I spread with my fingers the lightly beaten egg white over all of the dough). Sprinkle the top generously with a mix of sugar, cinnamon and pecan pieces. ( I do equal parts of sugar to cinnamon, about 2 tbsp. each. I use about 1/3 cup of pecan pieces.)

Bake at 350 degrees approximately 20 minutes. (Use your best judgement based on how your oven cooks)
