Peanut Butter Sheet Cake Recipe

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 stick butter
3 T. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. powdered sugar or as needed

Mix and set aside the flour, baking soda, salt, & sugar.

Bring to a boil the oil, butter, peanut butter, and water. Pour over dry ingredients.

Mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla. Pour into sheet cake pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until done.

While cake is baking, mix icing ingredients, except for powder sugar. Bring to a boil, then add powdered sugar.

Beat with mixer and frost cake as soon as it comes out of the oven. You can add milk or powdered sugar if needed.
