1 egg white
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg white to soft peak stage; mix in brown sugar and vanilla gradually. Fold in pecan halves. Place coated pecan halves on greased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake in 250º oven for 30 minutes. Turn off oven; let set for 30 minutes. Store in airtight container.

Grandmother Joy began making these in the 1970's while at OBU. These are a sweet and crunchy treat, very different and festive for the holidays.
