1 1/2 cup sifted flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (2 or 3)
1 cup rolled quick oats
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine ingredients and drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes or until brown.
