1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. dark karo syrup
1/2 c. canned Pet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 6oz. package Nestle semi-sweet morsels
pinch of salt
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan and add sugar, salt, syrup and milk. Mix and heat over low heat stirring now and then. When mixture first starts to boil, time 12 minutes, then remove from heat and add chocolate, vanilla and nuts stirring constantly. Pour into a buttered pan and let stand to firm. When firm and cool, cut into squares.
