Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 sticks butter or margarine
1 (8 oz. pkg.) cream cheese
1 1/2 cups of confections sugar
3 cups all purpose flour
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter or margarine & cream cheese on medium speed add sugar 1 cup at a time mixing well between additions. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each egg is added. Add flour one cup at a time, mixing well on low/med speed after each cup is added. Add vanilla and cook for approx. 1 and a half hours until toothpick is just about clean (its okay for some gooey crumbs on toothpick:-)

While cake is baking take juice from 2 fresh squeezed lemons and mix with approx. 1 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar. You can adjust either the lemon juice or the sugar depending on your personal taste.

When cake is done, take it out of the pan, place upright on plate and pour the glaze over the top of the warm cake, making sure to get it in the cracks on the top of the cooked cake, as well as into the center of the cake----this will make the cake SO yummy! Let stand for about 10 minutes before you cut into it....its OK to eat it warm!!
