1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1 T. oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
1 6-oz. can tomato paste
1 1lb-can kidney beans
1 T. chili powder
1/2 t. salt
1/2-1t. Tobasco

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger in oil. Add onion and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cover. Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add water if necessary.

Mom always used dried beans and soaked them overnight, so I probably should have copied down 1 1-lb PKG. kidney beans.
Dad used to love this over a Lynn Wilson tamale.
