1 lb. sausage, spicy or regular, removed from casing if needed
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 block cheddar cheese chopped or grated
1 package Party style Rye bread

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Brown beef and sausage in large skillet and drain fat. Add onion and saute for 5 more minutes. Add cheese into meat mixture, stirring until melted.
Add a spoonful of mixture onto each bread slice and place onto a baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes and serve hot.

My family has been making this for parties for a long time. My mom says it used to be called something different and my grandma changed it.
