5 lbs. pork ribs
1 T black pepper
2 t kosher salt
2 t chili powder
1 t sugar
1 t onion powder
1 t parsley
1 t oregano

Sweet and sour barbecue sauce

1 cup dry red wine
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 c honey
1/2 c vinegar
1/2 c soy sauce
1/4 c yellow mustard
2 T bourbon
1 t bottle hot pepper sauce

Sweet and Sour Barbecue Sauce-
In a medium bowl combine all the sauce ingredients and then pour over the ribs just before placing them in the oven.

Preparing the ribs for the oven-
Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well to make a rub. Sprinkle it evenly over the ribs and rub onto the meat.

Place the ribs bone side down in a roasting pan. Pour the barbecue sauce over the top of the ribs and cover with a lid or tin foil. Place the ribs in a 350 oven for about 2 hours or until they are tender.

After removing the ribs from the oven place them on a hot grill long enough to caramalize the sauce. Serve immediately.
