2 c. brown sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
5 to 6 qt. plain popped corn
Peanuts or other nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, butter, and syrup. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Pour over popped corn and nuts. Spread on baking sheets. Bake 40 minutes at 250º, stirring occasionally. Spread on wax paper to cool. Keep in well sealed container.
