MIX TOGETHER:
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk

Cheese Sauce for Vegetables, Rice, Macaroni, & Egg Dishes

PREPARE MEDIUM WHITE SAUCE.
STIR IN:
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

HEAT OVER LOW HEAT, STIRRING CONSTANTLY, UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED AND SAUCE IS SMOOTH.
