4 eggs, 2 cups brown sugar, 1 tsp. milk, 2 cups flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 cup chopped nuts, 1 cup small gumdrops.

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until light and add sugar and milk, mix well. Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt together and add to first mixture. Dredge nuts and gumdrops in flour and add to batter. Spread thinly on greased cookie sheet. Bake 350º oven. Spread with white icing while warm. Cool and slice.
These were my mom's favorite when she was a little girl.
