4 cups flour, 3/4 cup sugar, 3 tsps, baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 4 eggs, 1/2 cup oil, 2 tsps. vanilla
Prune filling: 1 pound pitted prunes, 1 tblsp. sugar, 1 tblsp. lemon juice, rind of lemon, rind of orange, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 cup chopped nuts.

Sift dry ingredients together, add beaten eggs, oil and vanilla, blend together thoroughly.
Roll portions of dough onto lightly floured board about 1/4 inch thick, cut with large water class, place a small tsp. of chopped prune mixture in center, form into triangles by pinching edges together. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet, brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar, and bake in a 350º oven until lightly browned.
