1-2 lbs. beef or chicken, cubed 1 onion 5 cups of water 3 1/2 tbsp. tomato paste 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter (optional) 1/4 tsp. hot pepper
Brown meat in oil. Add onion and cook slightly. Add all other ingredients EXCEPT peanut butter. Simmer for 1 hour. Add peanut butter- stir well. Simmer and additional 30 min. to an hour- stirring occasionally. It will have a thick gravy like consistency. Serve with cooked rice or noodles.
