1 large box vanilla wafers (2/3 box best)
2 cups sifted powder sugar
1/2 cup soft butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
3 egg yolks (reserve whites)
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 gallon ice cream (nut)

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Add sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, Beat whites until stiff and add to chocolate mix- fold in nuts

Pour half of crushed vanilla wafers into 9x13 inch pan.

Cover with chocolate mixture

Slice ice cream, cover chocolate and sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Cover with plastic top.

Freeze at least 24 hours.
