1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup vinegar 1/4 cup salad oil 2 Tbsp chopped pimientos or finely chopped red sweet pepper 1/8 tsp salt Dash seasoned salt Dash celery salt 9 cups coarsely shredded cabbage
1. For dressing, in a screw top jar combine the sugar, vinegar, salad oil, pimientos, salt, seasoned salt and celery salt. Cover and shake well. 2. In a mixing bowl, toss the cabbage with the dressing. Cover and chill for 3 to 24 hours. If you like garnish with sweet pepper strips.
