Read carefully --
Day 1 - receive the starter and do nothing. Day 2, 3, 4 - stir once a day. Day 5 - add 1c all purpose flour, 1 c sugar and 1 c whole milk. Days 6,7,8,9 - stir once a day. Day 10 - add 1 c sugar, 1 c all purpose flour and 1 c whole milk. Put (3) 1 c starters in three containers for 3 friends and save 1 c for your own starter!

2/3 c oil
3 eggs
1 t vanilla
2 c flour
1 c sugar
1 t cinnamon
