1 1/2 c cornmeal
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 t salt
1 t sugar
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1 c whole milk where you have also added 1 t white vinegar
1 egg
1/4 bacon grease

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients together
Add milk, egg and bacon grease and stir until just mixed - do not over mix!

Bake at 400º for 30 minutes
