1 pound bacon
5 cans claims - 6 1/2 oz
1 onion
3 potatoes - cubed
1/2 stick butter
3 cups light cream
1/2 teasp salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon, cook onion in some of fat, drain clams - keep juice, add clam juice to onion and potato, you may need extra water, bring to a boil, cook 10 minutes until potatoes are tender

Add clams, bacon, butter, cream, salt and pepper to all. Add extra milk if necessary.

Make thickner - 1 cup water, 8 tablespoon flour, add to chowder

Sprinkle with parsley
