My memory is...

It has been suggested that it takes a village to raise a child. I was blessed to be raised at the hub of the "Schantz Village" 733 Greenleaf St. At one time or another every member of the Schantz clan sat in the kitchen enjoying food and fellowship, Each of the seven brothers and sisters, their spouses, cousins, aunts and uncles, Grammie, and Grandpap personally contributed to who I have become. At one point, four generations of our family lived together in that one house. My outstanding memories are the family reunions at Pop's Pines. One year every family had to produce a skit. Uncle John's family did a take-off on a famous comedy sketch where God speaks to Noah. Thunderous sound effects, a booming voice of God, and of course the ark (Uncle John's boat) had all of us hysterical. I guess that's where Phil's acting bug began.
