12oz Milk Chocolate Chips
2 Tbsp Crisco Shortening
2 Qts Strawberries, washed OR
1 Pineapple, cored, sliced, and chunked

Directions:
Directions:
Place fruit on plate in single layers with paper towel in between each layer to absorb excess liquid. Cook Chocolate and Shortening on half power in the microwave for 90 seconds. Stir and cook for an additional 45 seconds on half power. Stir and remove from microwave if all melted. Work quickly, dip one half of fruit piece in chocolate and place on wax paper lined tray. Refrigerate for two hours before serving

Note: This recipe cannot be doubled; work in batches. Do not make more than 10 hours in advance.
