1 c raisins
2 c water
1/2 c shortening
1 c sugar
2 c four
1/4 t salt
1 t soda

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins in water until 1 c remains. While still warm, add shortening, sugar and dry ingredients. Pour onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake about 25 mins. at 350. Do not overbake. Ice with powdered sugar frosting. Cut into squares when cool.
