2 c raisins 1 c water 1 c chopped nuts 1 c drained crushed pineapple 1 c chopped nuts 1 c shortening 2 c sugar 2 eggs 1 t vanilla 4 c flour 1 t baking powder 1 t cinnamon 1/2 t nutmeg 1/2 t allspice
Boil raisins in water for 5 mins; then cool. Add pineapple and nuts. Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Add raisins to creamed mixture; then add flour mixture. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake about 15 mins. at 350 degrees.
