1 pound bacon 1 head lettuce 1/4 cup vinegar 1/3 cup sugar
Prepare lettuce by either shredding or cutting into bite-sized pieces. Fry bacon to fairly crisp; drain on paper towels. In saucepan combine vinegar and sugar; bring to a boil for 1 minute. Add cut up bacon. Right before serving, pour bacon mixture over lettuce and mix well. Serve immediately.
