1 Tbs. butter or margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
pinch salt
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1-4 tbs. peter pan peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
combine butter ,sugars, salt, evaporated milk together in med. saucepan cook until soft ball forms in glass of cold water. Turn burner off let cool 2 minutes. Add vanilla peanut butter, beat until pulls loose from sides and bottom of pan. Pour into 8" greased or sprayed plate.

This was given to me by Rose Simpson who worked with me at Wal-mart. She is now deceased. This was exactly how she wrote the recipe down on a scrap of paper on Jan 19, 2002.
