1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 heaping tbsp. sour cream
1 c.mashed bananas (usually 2)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Beat butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat. Alternate dry ingredients with sour cream. Add bananas last. Bake in greased and floured loaf pan for about an hour or a bit less.

This recipe belongs to Mom Brickell, the mother of my best friend from college. We would stuff our faces while driving from Florida back to school. Did I mention we were driving in a Pinto with shag green carpet?!
