Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
¾ cup cocoa powder
1 cup flour
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 cup nuts (optional)

FROSTING

6 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup or honey
2 cups confectioner’s sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2-3 Tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

Melt butter and mix in sugar and cocoa powder. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt. Add nuts. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until edges have pulled away from the sides of the pan. Do not overcook. Cool and Frost.

Frosting: Cream butter and cocoa together. Add vanilla and corn syrup. Mix in sifted confectioner’s sugar and add milk until desired consistency for spreading.

I cut the hard edges away from all four sides after the brownies are iced, then cut in small squares while still in the baking pan.

These are very dainty just like the one who gave me this recipe. "Miss Pitty Pat".
