1 lb of your favorite bacon

Spread bacon in a single layer out on a broiler pan or on cooling grates set on a baking sheet with one inch sides. Place in a COLD oven on the center rack. Set oven to 400 degrees and bake for approx 20 minutes until bacon is at desired doneness.

This is a simple and less messy way to make bacon. The bacon also doesn't curl and stays straight. Plus the bacon isn't sitting in the fat so it's less greasy. Save the bacon fat for frying eggs or taters!
