2-3 lbs. venison (or Beef) medallions
2 cans sliced mushrooms
2 medium onions, chopped
5 lbs. red potatoes
1 pkg. red gravy mix (use red wine in place of water)
1 c. heavy cream
1/2 stick plus 1T of butter
1/4 tsp. paprika

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet cook the medallions with onion in 1 T butter over med heat till done. Remove the meat and keep warm.Add mushrooms and gravy mix (red wine instead of water) in skillet and simmer for 30 minutes. Cook the red potatoes and mash (with peelings) with cream, butter and paprika. Add the meat to the sauce and serve over the potatoes.
