1 cup shortening (Crisco)
1 cup peanut butter, chunky
2 eggs
4 T milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups flour
9 ounce peg chocolate kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.
In large bowl blend with a mixer the shortening, peanut butter, eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar & brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and flour.
Shape dough into walnut- size balls & roll in small bowl of extra sugar.
Put cookies on cookie sheet sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 375º for 10 minutes till slightly browned on top; when done immediately top each cookie with an unwrapped chocolate kiss & press slightly to crack cookie. Don't overcook or it will be dry.--should be slightly doughy & slightly brown on top.
