4 egg whites
6 tablespoons confectioners sugar
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar, optional
Pinch of salt, optional
1/2 teaspoon vanilla. optional

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites to a soft peak. Gradually add confectioners' sugar and beat until stiff. Spread on filling and form a seal with the crust. Bake at 275 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes or until brown.
