12 c. Yellow Squash
5 c. Sugar
4 c. Onions, Chopped
1 lrg. jar Pimento's
2 1/2 c. Vinegar
2 tbsp. Turmeric Powder
4 Bell Peppers, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cover Squash with water, soak overnight with 6 tablespoons of Salt. Rinse good with cold water. Put Sugar and Vinegar in a pan and let come to a boil. Then add rest of ingredients and let simmer for 5 minutes. Put in sterilized jars and process to seal.
Can also be made with Zucchini squash.
