1/2 c. Cream of Wheat
1 egg
1 t. baking powder
mashed potatoes
1 c. or more of flour
Fruit - Peaches, Plums, Nectarines

Directions:
Directions:
Mix salt with potatoes, cook as usual and mash. Add remaining ingredients. Wrap potato mixture around fruit, boil about 8 minutes. Serve with crushed graham crackers that have a little sugar mixed with it.

This was a watch and learn recipe as there really isn't a recipe to follow. We all looked forward to summer when Grandma would make us dumplings for supper.
