1 can Kidney Beans, 15-16 oz.
1 can Wax Beans, 15-16 oz.
1 can Garbanzo "Ceci" Beans, 15-16 oz.
1 can Green Beans, 15-16 oz.
1 lg. Sweet Onion, diced or sliced thin
1/2 c. Almonds, sliced, slivered [optional]
Marinade:
1 c. Sugar
1 c. White Vinegar
1/3 c. Salad Oil
1/2 tsp. Salt
Dashes of Pepper
1/4 tsp. Ginger, ground

Drain all canned Beans and mix together in a glass or steel bowl [not aluminum]. Mix together Marinade ingredients and pour over beans; let sit in refrigerator for a few hours or overnight. Can stir in Almonds for extra crunch if desired.

It is called a "dump" because literally the recipe is dumping cans of vegetables and little effort beyond that. This is easy and keeps well. Most salad buffets have something like this salad. In the 70s it was very popular. I like to also add 1 tbsp. of dried leaf Oregano.
