1-1/4 c all-purpose flour
2 T granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 beaten egg
1-1/3 c buttermilk
1 T cooking oil
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine egg, buttermilk and oil...add all at once to flour mixture, stirring till blended but still lumpy. Pour about 1/4 c batter on buttered skillet and cook till golden brown, turning pancakes when they have a bubbly surface. Makes about eight 4-inch pancakes.
