2 cup sugar
3 cup self rising flour
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
1 cup shortening
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour with 1 cup sugar. Add the rest of dry ingredients (not shortening). Mix together the other cup of sugar and the eggs in a separate bowl until creamy. Add rest of wet ingredients. Mix shortening with dry ingredients until crumbly. Add liquid to flour mixture; roll thin (you can refrigerate and roll out later). Cut with cookie cutters or make dough balls. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes. Take them out of the oven while they are still a little mushy. Should make between six to eight dozen.
